Top / Jeans / Stilettos / Monogram Necklace / Louis Vuitton Neverfull

Sometimes all it takes to spice up your outfit is throwing on a pair of heels – it seriously changes the entire look! If you’re still wanting to keep it casual for during the day, you can never go wrong with ripped jeans and a blouse! This blouse is one of my go-to’s..tie sleeve blouses are really in right now. My heels from Akira are currently only $25! I’ve had these stilettos for almost four years now, and they’ve held up pretty nicely. Over winter break I got these Hollister jeans for only $25 – keep an eye out for markdowns on their denim, they have randomly had really great sales! I had forgotten how much I love Hollister jeans..Those and Express denim are my two favorites right now!

For a while I never had the guts to wear heels around, maybe just for photos or a blog post, but otherwise I felt as if people would think I was way overdressed. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not worth worrying about what others think so much, especially when it comes to fashion. And in my vocabulary, there is no such thing as being
overdressed”
. As cheesy as it may be – my motto has always been “you look good, you feel good, and you do good” and that’s something I live by!

Lake Forest Academy gardens

12345-256Lake Forest Academy has the most beautiful campus – we did a shoot today in the secret gardens on campus and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was a perfect day for photos! This outfit is from Dry Goods, one of my favorite stores – but unfortunately I was unable to find any of my outfit online. My shirt is Lumiere, my skirt is Moa Moa and my heels were $5 (can you believe that?!) on clearance at Francesca’s.

Winter Wonderland

Just left Chicago’s -4 degree weather and I’m back in Maine where it is high 30’s! It feels so warm here. I have almost a full month off until classes start back up again, which made it super hard but I tried to pack as light as possible..But of course I wanted every pair of boots..

This blanket scarf is everything – so cozy and so many ways to style it. I also literally live in my hunter boots this time of year, I don’t know what I’d do without them.
